Their first meeting ever on one December Sunday of 2017, resulted in a dynamic set of temperamental improvisation, which took place in Poznań ,,House of the Motorman’’ during a one-day residence of the Catalan trio ,,Phicus’’. The effect pleased not only musicians. Less than half a year later, they recorded the material that was on their debut album ,,Hajstra’’.
Even in 2018 they played a short tour in Poland, and in April this year they became a strong accent on the Improvised Three Days in the spring edition of ,,Spontaneous Live Series - Live In Dragon 2019’’.
The effect of their work is completely free improvisation, which combines many fascinations common to both musicians - metal, drones, electroacoustic music, free jazz and everything that sits in their expressive heads. Preparation of live sounds, full openness to any stage solution, oversized ability to listen to each other in the process of improvisation.
Paweł Doskocz (1989) - Poland, Poznań - electric guitar. He quickly emerges from an experimental scene from the area of drones and electroacoustics, although he is still exploring interesting things in this area (,,Strętwa’’, ,,Bachorze’’). He boldly enters the world of truly liberated free improv. At every Poznań Spontaneous Music Festival he works great in the fire of percussive thunder and drones. He played, among others with Onno Govaert, Andrew Lisle, or Vasco Furtado, or outside this instrumental sphere - with Yedo Gibson, Seppe Gebruers and Diego Caicedo.
Vasco Trilla (1977) - Portugal / Catalonia, Barcelona - drums, percussion instruments. The most Polish of the musicians from the Iberian Peninsula, with the achievements of several dozen important albums for European free improv (including eleven already released in Poland!), A guy who made drums and percussion instruments one of the most important tools of free improvisation. Magician, incredible colorist, shaman. Fascinated by the sound of every object encountered.

this is my favorite of the Sway series. it is also the first to have reeds, and they work really well in this context. I guess you could compare it to Evan Parker's Electro-Acoustic Ensemble, in that there is computer/digital alteration to the sound. but Carl's music is much more warm/organic than Parker. thirduncle801
The intensity and power, the majesty, an ocean is beautiful and horrifying in concept, a representation of the power of nature to mystify and then swallow you whole, I walk straight into this ocean and it does what it will. Mighttheone
Marvelous experimental music from this Tel Aviv musician that fuses outré noise with almost folk-like arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 13, 2022
